Household Ingredients
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil (Sesame)
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic, about 5 to 6 plump cloves
Utensils
1 Large Non-Stick Pan
1 large pot
Ingredients (serves 2)
A-Sha Meteor noodles, 3 packs
Eggs, 2
Scallions (green onions)
Green beans, 1 lb
Trim and rinse the green beans. Pat dry.
Chop the scallion greens into small pieces.
Heat the oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
Fry the green beans for about 2 minutes, until the green beans start to wrinkle on the outside. Transfer to a paper-towel plate.
Empty the oil from the pan.
Fry the garlic for 30 seconds to 1 minute
Add the green beans and salt for 1 minute.
Place 2 eggs in boiling water for 8.5 minutes for soft-set whites and jammy yolks.
Transfer into a large bowl or sink of cold water.
Peel under water starting from the base (it’s easier).
Follow instructions for cooking A-Sha Meteor noodles (5 minutes to boil)
Portion the noodles into bowls with green beans on the side.
Halve and add 1 egg per bowl.
Top with scallion greens. Bon appétit!
